I am so very glad I bought the Megahome Distiller from you in December, 2022. I have used it pretty much twice a day since . I love the taste of the water. I don’t add anything to it. I did buy the concentrace minerals that can be added but at this point I like the water better without it. I have never enjoyed drinking water as much as I do now!
I tell everyone who is interested all about it. It’s so easy to use and clean. A bottle of cleaner was included but I haven’t used it. With our city water my distiller is already crusty after one use. So I clean it after every use. It would be very hard to clean even scrubbing hard with just soap and a cloth. I tried but I just pour in enough straight vinegar to cover the bottom leave it maybe ten minutes and all the scale comes off without even scrubbing. I use that vinegar to wipe down all around the insides. Dump. Then wash with a soapy cloth followed by rinse cloth until clean.  It only takes minutes to clean.
You can speed up the distilling time by starting with boiled water but it’s not necessary.  When I start with tap water it tests at about 190ppm and when it’s distilled it’s 1ppm.  Distilling time is roughly 6 hours.
The only problem I ever had was when I very distractedly tried distilling without adding the water🙄dumb right?   Ha ha.  So if your machine only runs a couple of minutes and stops and you can’t get it to restart, check if you remembered the water🙄Just know that you’re not alone. When you call Dean, all concerned about why your distiller isn’t working, he’s very kind, patient and compassionate and doesn’t make you feel dumb.  Ha  ha!  Thank you so much Dean! After I spoke with you, I kept thinking,  no, I wouldn’t forget the water! That’s just dumb.  But I checked and sure enough,  that’s what I’d done. I was so embarrassed to tell you, but wanted to let you know I’m human and maybe someone else can learn from my silly error. I was very relieved and had to laugh.
